If you’re like me and have read 1000+ webtoons online, you probably know the feeling: there’s nothing on your bookshelf to show for all these amazing titles you’ve devoured. Print versions of webtoons are still pretty rare, but I’ve put together a list of every romance title you can buy. Trust me on this, I spent more than three days putting it together.

Who’s Actually Publishing Romance Manhwa in Print?

It is still rare for romance webtoons to get a print version. Only the ones that perform exceptionally well get one, but there are some publishers that continue to release new print versions. Here are the ones you’ll want to know

Ize Press (Yen Press)

By far the biggest player in the Korean manhwa print space. Ize Press is an imprint of Yen Press dedicated to Korean content. If you’ve picked up a Korean webtoon in English from a bookstore in the past two years, there’s a good chance it was theirs.

From this list, Ize Press is behind titles like Marriage of Convenience, Beware the Villainess, My Secretly Hot Husband, Semantic Error, and Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story.

Inklore (Penguin Random House)

Inklore publishes manga, manhwa, manhua, webcomics, and graphic novels for adult audiences, with a focus on romance, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and slice-of-life genres. But their catalogue has good picks for romance readers too.

From this list, Inklore handles Under the Oak Tree, Father, I Don’t Want This Marriage, and How to Hide the Emperor’s Child.

WEBTOON Unscrolled

WEBTOON’s own print imprint, focused on titles that originated on the WEBTOON platform. They’ve also partnered with Inklore and Ink Pop (both Random House imprints) to bring 14 of WEBTOON’s webcomics into print over the next five years, including ELECEED, I LOVE YOO, and Midnight Poppy Land. If a series started on WEBTOON, this is usually where you’ll find it in print.

Now let’s get started with all the titles I have read and can recommend. Down below, you will find additional print versions.

Seven Seas Entertainment

Publisher of manga, light novels, and original comics since 2004, Seven Seas brings Korean webtoons to print through their dedicated Seven Seas Webtoons label. I know the logo and the name don’t sound legit, but it is an official publisher. Their romance catalogue leans heavily into Boys’ Love manhwa, which are very underrepresented in this list, so check them out if you are searching for BL.

From this list, titles like Who made me a Princess and What It Means to Be You are from Seven Seas.

The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine

Summary: Ailette wakes up in a doomed fantasy world equipped with a hidden perk system that no one else can see. While she grinds her way through dungeons and demons just to survive, our ML Thesilid is stuck in a time loop, trying desperately to save it all. Their paths keep crossing – and our ML falls pretty hard. Ailette takes her time to reciprocate, though. Season 4 is now ongoing. There are seven volumes of the printed version.

You should read if you:

• Love an action Manhwa with a badass female lead
• Like reading a good Romance Comedy Manhwa that also has dramatic moments
• Don’t mind a constant system voice chiming in on the FL’s every move – it’s entertaining, but can be distracting too

Morgana and Oz

Summary: When a young witch and a brooding vampire meet, there has to be conflict, right? Wrong. It’s just fluff and rainbows between those two, but unfortunately for them, their origins get in the way. Morgana comes from a long line of witches, Oz from a rival vampire clan, and after a chance encounter (plus a few spells that go very sideways), the two are stuck working together to keep their families from going to war over it.

Check it out if you:

• Don’t mind a slower-paced story with shorter chapters
• Enjoy a mystery that actually keeps you on your toes, because the reveal is late
• Love refreshing, unconventional art – it’s different, but stunning

Love 4a Walk

Summary: Pam’s love life is basically a graveyard of failed relationships, and the last one ended because of her chaotic dog Bob (and because her ex was trash). Done with dating, she’s ready to commit fully to dog-mom life on her own – until her new neighbor, Tyler, shows up, tired, mysterious, and weirdly good with Bob. Or was it the crocs with socks that got her attention? You’ll have to read this to find out.

Check it out if you:

• Love when a story feels realistic. Although Pam falls in love very quickly, they take it slow and the intimate scenes are fun too
• Don’t mind that the ML has many unresolved issues (there is also an ex involved)
• Like it when the leads have tension between them early on

See you in my 19th Life

Summary: Our FL Jieum Ban remembers every one of her past lives. When she kind of had had enough of the time loop, in her 18th life, she became close to Seoha, but her time there got cut short after she died in a car crash. But thanks to her ability, she sets out in life number 19 to find him again.

You should check it out if you:

• Like a story that flows just right (there’s drama, but it never feels over-the-top)
• Love feeling all the feels
• Enjoy a VERY assertive FL

Marriage of Convenience

Summary: After her husband dies in battle, Bianca de Arno is branded a wicked, selfish wife and cast out of his estate. Then she regresses and gets a second shot at it all. The setup itself isn’t anything new, but the execution is what makes it shine – the narration in Marriage of Convenience almost reads like a fairytale, and the characters (especially FL) get a lot of character development.

Check it out if you:

• Don’t expect the FL to be a tactical mastermind
• Don’t mind a notable age gap (without going into detail – the early backstory has some very uncomfortable framing)
• Enjoy a cast full of lovable side characters – minus the obligatory crown prince who fixates on the FL for no real reason

Business Proposal

Summary: Ha-ri agrees to take her best friend’s place on a blind date to scare the guy off by acting like an over-the-top gold digger. Plot twist: her “victim” is CEO Taemu, and he isn’t fazed in the slightest. He just wants to get married so his family stops nagging him, and he genuinely doesn’t care who fills the role. The catch? Ha-ri works at his company, and the last thing she wants is to be recognized.

You should read if you:

• Don’t mind some drama that gets unnecessarily stretched out
• Like a hot, rich, can-do-everything CEO ML
• Love it when a story has more than one couple to root for

Mafia Nanny

Summary: After losing her parents at a young age, Davina became an elite nanny, but the job means more to her than it seems. She is set on finding out who killed her parents, and working as a nanny is part of her plan. Then she meets Gabriel Angelini, a mafia underboss who needs her skills. He seems ruthless at first, but there is much more to him than meets the eye.

You should read if you:

• Love an action romance manhwa with gorgeous art
• Don’t mind a slow burn with good tension
• Enjoy stories with a childcare theme? The childcare aspect stays important all the way through, even with all the mafia action happening

Villains Are Destined to Die

Summary: Our FL Penelope really has it rough. After her pretty sad life in Korea she dies and wakes up in the otome game she played the night before. The problem is that she’s stuck in hard mode and everyone absolutely hates her. The special gimmick in Villains Are Destined to Die is that she sees the affection level of everyone above their heads. And yes, it can go into the negatives. This one has already nine volumes printed.

Check it out if you:

• Don’t mind the FL getting treated terribly at the start
• Love a historical romance manhwa with truly gorgeous art
• Enjoy a story where it’s not immediately clear who the actual ML is

The Villainess Turns the Hourglass

Summary: In her past life, Aria was a spoiled noblewoman whose reputation eventually got her executed. Right before her death, she learns that her sweet stepsister Mielle had been pulling the strings all along. Aria then gets sent back in time with a strange hourglass that lets her rewind bit by bit. It’s a fun twist you don’t see often, and one of the originals in the villainess revenge genre.

You should read if you:

• Live for a good revenge arc (Mielle is genuinely cunning)
• Love when the FL has a unique trick up her sleeve (in this case, the hourglass)
• Enjoy watching antagonists suffer – not through torture, but through humiliation

Unholy Blood

Summary: Unholy Blood gets the mix of action and romance right from the start. The relationship between the leads builds slowly enough to feel believable, without dragging. Hayan is a vampire who desperately tries to keep that side of herself hidden. But that becomes much harder when she teams up with a police officer who has his own very personal idea of justice.

You should read if you:

• Love a shounen-like rhythm – new villain, take them down, next villain
• Like a story that throws in a few well-placed plot twists, even if you sometimes see them coming
• Want every panel to bless your eyes.. The art is THAT gorgeous (just look at the cover of volume 8, that’s why I picked it)

Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom

Summary: Think Snow White, but turned on its head. You still get the familiar pieces: the wicked stepmother Abigail, the magic mirror, and the mistreated daughter, Blanche. But after Abigail reincarnates, she has no intention of becoming the villain.

She is still completely obsessed with Blanche, just in the opposite way. Blanche is too cute to ignore, and Abigail is more than ready to call out everyone in the castle, including the king, for treating her badly.

Check it out if you:

• Like an FL who intimidates everyone with her scary face
• Love it when the former villainess wins everyone over
• Don’t mind a cold ML (but he has his reasons – and they’re heavy)

Operation True Love

Summary: Operation True Love has been a fan favorite for a long time, and the premise is fun. Su-ae finds a mysterious phone in her locker that shows everyone’s “love points”, basically how many people are destined to fall for them. But there is a big problem: Her score is zero, even though she already has a boyfriend. To change that, she teams up with Eunhyeok and tries to make her boyfriend jealous.

You should read if you:

• Don’t mind a love triangle where the second ML gets almost as many heart-fluttering moments with the FL (and it still goes on after the timeskip)
• Don’t mind major plot points just… getting dropped: the love points and the threatening system? Solved with bad writing. Ra-im, the stepsister actively trying to ruin the FL’s life? Conveniently popping up sometimes
• Don’t mind a sudden ten-year time skip right after they finally get together. One of the biggest green flag MLs apparently made a single phone call and disappeared. Not what I’d call consistent characterization

Father I don’t want This Marriage

Summary: If you like stories built on misunderstandings, this one is for you. Juvelian is technically a villainess, but the story never actually shows what she did wrong. She’s terrified of her father, feels completely ignored, and in the very first chapter she dies a lonely, brutal death – nobody comes to help, not her lover, not her father. After regressing, she dumps her lover and sets out to win her father over. Plot twist: he’s actually been protective the whole time; everyone in this family is just catastrophically bad at communicating. To avoid another arranged marriage, she ends up in a fake-dating contract with her father’s student.

Check it out if you:

• Like when the ML falls in love first – and is a little shy and possessive about it
• Don’t mind a chain reaction of misunderstandings and zero healthy communication
• Love reading a story with a VERY misunderstood father

My Gently Raised Beast

Summary: This is neither an isekai nor a time-reversal manhwa, which already makes it stand out. After growing up in poverty, Blondina is taken into the palace as the forgotten princess of the Ates Empire. And of course, her so-called family treats her poorly. One day, she meets Amon, a member of the divine leopard clan who can transform into a human. The two quickly grow close.

Check it out if you:

• Love a possessive ML
• Like an FL who stands up for herself
• Love seeing beautifully drawn cats getting petted and cuddled all the time

Semantic Error

Summary: Sangwoo Choo follows the rules. Always. So when his group project teammates decide to coast and contribute nothing, he simply removes their names from the final submission. That call ends up costing senior Jaeyoung Jang his graduation, and Jaeyoung isn’t about to take it quietly, he decides to make Sangwoo’s life miserable as payback.

You should read if you:

• Love when webtoons have some spice (the full version is on Manta)
• Don’t mind a “let’s distance ourselves” miscommunication arc – season 3 cranks up the drama, and honestly the ending could’ve used a few more chapters
• Love the stoic loner × popular extrovert dynamic

Beware the Villainess

Summary: Our FL reincarnates as Melissa Foddebrat – the clingy daughter of a duke who made plenty of enemies in the past. But there’s no redemption arc waiting here: Melissa is on a mission to teach every single one of the idiot male characters a lesson, and she does it without mercy. Having finished it, I can say this confidently: read it for the romance and you’ll be disappointed. Read it for the laughs, and you’ll have a blast.

Check it out if you:

• Like a badass FL who actually communicates openly
• Are in need of new memes
• Love a historical romance manhwa where the FL is kind to her friends and crushes her opponents

Act Like You Love Me

Summary: Ji-eon is mid-twenties, broke, and burned out from her convenience store job. One day she stumbles across a strange doll that can apparently control Doyun Nam, a famous actor secretly dealing with panic attacks. Their dynamic starts rocky, but it gets funny and surprisingly sweet really quickly.

You should read if you:

• Don’t mind a love triangle (and a second Ml that gets treated badly)
• Like a modern romance manhwa with a supernatural twist
• Love it when the FL is a loudmouth who speaks her mind

Freaking Romance

Summary: Freaking Romance has stunning art and a unique premise: our FL Zelith moves into a new apartment on her own and quickly realizes she isn’t actually alone. Her unexpected roommate? A guy living in a different dimension. The story takes a weird detour right before the ending, but overall, it stays satisfying and is a fun read.

You should check this completed romance manhwa out if you:

• Love reading a story with constant angst about whether they will ever meet
• Don’t mind that the last 30 chapters or so dip in quality
• Don’t mind some heartbreak in between cause the love interests change for a short while

Beatrice

Summary: Alexandro is cold, brutal, and very willing to kill to get what he wants – especially early on. He spares the FL, Beatrice, who survives by disguising herself as a slave girl named “Chloe” and becoming his personal maid, where she slowly starts to catch his attention. He’s hates other people, but he hates himself and his past more than anything else. I found the story engaging – the misunderstandings are genuinely hilarious, and the Archduke does grow over time.

Check it out if you:

• Like a story with a lot of character development
• Don’t mind an FL whose only real goal is to survive
• Like a lot of fanservice panels (abs everywhere)

How to Hide the Emperor’s Child

Summary: If you are in the mood for a strong FL desperately trying to keep her child hidden from her unstable Emperor ex, you will love How to Hide the Emperor’s Child. After their wedding night, Kaizen divorces Astelle and leaves her with practically nothing. From that point on, her only goal is to get as far away from him as humanly possible. Six years later – with her six-year-old son in tow – a small territorial dispute drags her back to court.

You should check it out if you:

• Don’t mind an ML with an inconsistent personality (toxic in one chapter, gentle and understanding in the next – it does improve toward the end)
• Aren’t here primarily for the romance, since it takes a backseat until later. Read it for the FL and the slow-burn tension of “when is he going to figure out it’s his son?”
• Don’t mind a pretty questionable premise

The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway

Summary: At six years old, Inés picked Lord Cárcel as her future husband purely because of his looks. For the next fifteen years, he does everything he can to avoid the marriage – which actually suits Inés just fine, since she secretly wants the engagement to fall apart too. She even tells him to enjoy his freedom, as long as he leaves her alone. Of course, her total indifference is what starts to get under his skin, and Cárcel decides he’s going to prove he can be exactly the partner she needs.

Check it out if you:

• Like when the ML is completely obsessed with the FL (he does sleep around before things turn serious – but she actively asked him to)
• Love when the FL (who has already regressed three times) doesn’t just shrug off her trauma. But heads up: the flashbacks are heavy. If you’re looking for a lighthearted romance manhwa, skip this one
• Don’t mind a very stubborn, emotionally guarded FL

Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story

Summary: Edith gets reincarnated as the villainess of her favorite novel. As the name suggests, the story is pretty typical but it takes an interesting turn. While Edith tries to be kind to everyone around her everyone just keep being unnecessarily cruel. And as a reader you will know why very soon.

Check it out if you:

• Don’t mind when the FL gets treated harshly and doesn’t speak up
• Don’t mind when the relationship keeps hitting setbacks
• Like a genuinely satisfying relationship arc – they don’t just get together and end the story right there

Under the Oak Tree

Summary: Maximilian grew up under an abusive father and developed a stutter because of it. She’s forced into a marriage with a then-unknown knight named Riftan, and after their wedding night he disappears on a mission for three years – returning as the most famous knight on the continent. He’s been obsessed with her the entire time, but Maximilian has no idea what to do when someone actually treats her with kindness.

Check it out if you:

• Don’t mind some mild sexual content
• Like a manhwa with a realistic approach to trauma (finally, an FL who doesn’t just shake it off after years of abuse – I really appreciate that)
• Love when the couple is together from the start
