Why was ‘Your Throne’ on Hiatus?
SAM has an Instagram account, but her more detailed and heartfelt updates were definitely on her Naver creator account. She shared many details about the hiatus there.
The first sign that something was wrong came on December 16, 2024, when SAM posted that her health had gotten so bad she couldn’t keep up with her work. She had planned a long break for the first half of 2025, but had to start it earlier. Her goal was to finish Helio’s arc before taking a break, which would have needed five more chapters, but she wasn’t sure she could manage it.
A month later, on January 27, 2025, SAM shared a more difficult update. After several hospital visits, doctors found something more serious than just fatigue. She had been dealing with symptoms since the previous summer but ignored them. The diagnosis ruled out the most serious illness, but she still needed surgery to remove lesions around an affected organ, and there was no clear timeline for recovery.
