I’ve read Season 1 to the end, and it didn’t feel like the story ended on a weird or rushed note. There was a proper cliffhanger with a lot of foreshadowing, and the final page reads: “To be continued in Part 2.” So the story is clearly not finished.

After the final episode of Season 1, creator AENGO left this message at the end of the chapter:

The first part has finally come to an end.

Although I’ve only just returned, I regret to inform you that another break is necessary.
