Miss Pendleton Season 2: Release Date Confirmed for June 6

Hello! This is Kkomak.
I’m writing to let you know that the return date for Miss Pendleton Season 2 has been confirmed for June 6!
The schedule has been pushed back by about a month from the original plan, so I feel very sorry to everyone who has been waiting. 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️💦💦 It may not be enough to make up for it, but I wanted to share the news together with a small illustration showing the two of them in Season 2.
During this time, aside from working on the manuscript, I also drew several illustrations related to the print volume, and I can’t wait to show them to readers as well! I’ll announce the schedule for the print volume once it has been confirmed.
In Season 2, I’m drawing many more scenes of the two of them together than in Season 1, and I’m working hard on it with a happy heart. I’d be grateful if you looked forward to it. 😳💗

Miss Pendleton Season 2 on Webtoon Global: Will There Be a Delay?
Teason 2 dropping on June 6 is great news, but for English readers it’s not that simple. Here’s a short overview of the publishing gap between Naver and Webtoon Global for Season 1:
- Season 1 finished in Korea: January 16, 2026
- Season 1 finished on Webtoon Global: March 21, 2026
That’s a gap of roughly 9 weeks. So if they keep this up, international readers would likely have to wait a bit before Season 2 lands on the app. But honestly, there’s no clear pattern with this. I’ve written a lot of articles about release dates and hiatuses, and every single time it’s different.
There are very popular titles like Childhood Friend Complex, where there was a publishing gap in Season 1 but Season 2 released simultaneously. There are also cases like No Office Romance, where the next season has been running in Korea for more than six months and there’s still no news about a release on the international app. And then there are global release series that get published simultaneously from the start, like Duchess in Ruins – but Miss Pendleton isn’t one of those. So we’ll just have to wait and see.
Creator Kkomak on Working on Miss Pendleton Season 2
In the afterword of Season 1, Kkomak wrote that she was able to take a bit of time off after “handing over the draft for the season finale”. She took a short trip, took her time reading, and “had endless amounts of time to just zone out”, as she wrote. But shortly after the Season 1 finale was published, she had to start working on Season 2. And things mostly went according to plan – Season 2 is only about a month behind the original schedule.
What I loved about the afterword: you can really feel Kkomak’s love for classic historical dramas in Miss Pendleton and she confirmed it directly: she’s a fan of Pride and Prejudice, Bridgerton and Downton Abbey. That’s exactly the vibe Miss Pendleton gives off, even though Kkomak is “only” adapting the novel. The original author is Yu Hyemin.
