The hiatus came at a particularly awkward time because many fans were still reeling from the timeskip. One moment, Eunhyuk and Soo-Ae were finally together and happy, and in the very next chapter, we suddenly got hit with the line, “Eunhyuk disappeared completely from my life”, followed by a nine-year timeskip. Nine years!
Apparently, one of my favorite green-flag male leads ghosted his new girlfriend for nine years after only trying to call her once. I’m eager to see how the author plans to unfold Season 2, and my hunch is that Soo-Ae might end up with our second male lead, Dohwa. Would I like that?
