I expected more episodes to wrap up the story, but it turns out that “Season 5” will consist of only 17 episodes. According to KakaoPage in Korea, I Married the Male Lead’s Dad is completed with Episode 150. There will be more side stories, though. Here are the announcements from Kakao. The artists don’t have an Instagram or a private creator account on Kakao, so we’ll have to make do with that:

We now have an answer: Season 5 is confirmed to release on Tapas on April 21, 2025. Normally, English translations are pretty fast. Big hits like Childhood Friend Complex, for example, were released simultaneously on Naver and in English, but that is definitely not the norm. There is often a waiting period of between three and eight weeks. However, there are exceptions where it takes exceptionally long, like with No Office Romance, where the Korean release is already 40 chapters ahead.
