I was completely obsessed with the original art. Turning the Mad Dog into a Genteel Lord was, for me, one of those Manhwa with truly god-tier visuals, so the change honestly shocked me at first. The new artist is doing a good job, but I really miss the liveliness of the old style – especially the expressive faces, Diarin’s in particular. I’m sure I’ll get used to the new look over time, and in the end I’m just grateful the series wasn’t cancelled.
As for why V_An stepped down after Season 1: there has been no official explanation.
